Hiatus Apology

To the one or two people who follow this blog :) obviously I have dropped the ball. It's not for lack of enthusiasm, but more for an excess of life events happening. I'll do my best to keep up with it from now on - I'm preparing a stack of posts to have ready! So please don't lose patience with me... and thanks for being here!

About This Blog

The idea for this blog came to me over the course of a few days in LA, at the Breaking Dawn: Part 2 premiere. For several years now, I've felt really grateful that for the movie translations of these books that we are all so passionate about, we got cast members who display equal passion for their characters, as well as thoughtfulness and empathy with their characters' highs and lows. Think how badly these movies could have turned out if some of the names originally thrown around for Edward and Bella had actually been cast!

The format of this blog will be one cast member/director/composer featured at a time, following their journey through Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn: Part 1, and Breaking Dawn: Part 2. My hope is that when your favorite characters are featured, you'll jump in and comment and tell me what you loved, your favorite lines, your favorite interviews with the actor, etc.

In the end, when the whole family has been featured, my hope is that this blog will remain a tribute to our passionate, thoughtful, talented, beautiful-even-in-pancake-makeup-and-bad-wigs cast and their directors. They poured their hearts and souls into these movies, came out to the premieres and conventions, and generally gave us their very best. I'm grateful. Are you?
